Data that stays on your device
Your progress (levels, scores, coins, unlocked cosmetics, achievements, player profile) and your settings (language, sound, vibration, notifications) are stored in the app's local storage.
This data passes through no server and is not accessible to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear the app's data from your phone settings.
Advertising
Blokadia shows rewarded ads, which you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game advantage. They are served by Google AdMob.
To serve those ads, Google processes your advertising identifier, your IP address, technical information about your device and your interactions with the ad. From Google we receive aggregate statistics only, never data that could identify you.
- Legal basis
- Your consent, collected on first launch through the Google UMP form if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. Elsewhere, our legitimate interest in funding a free game.
- Withdrawing consent
- You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time from your phone settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking), or write to us.
In-app purchases
The game offers optional purchases. They are handled entirely by Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple's App Store (iOS). We never see your payment details: the store only tells us that a purchase went through, so the matching content can be unlocked on your device.
Notifications
If you allow them, Blokadia schedules reminders (daily challenge, lives refilled, end of season). These notifications are entirely local: they are scheduled by the app on your device. There is no notification server and no data is sent to trigger them.
Your device's time zone is read locally so those reminders fire at the right hour. You can turn them off in the game settings or in your phone settings.
Updates and sharing
The game checks with the Play Store whether an update is available and offers to install it. That exchange happens between your device and Google, with no involvement from us.
If you share a score certificate, the image is generated on your device and handed to whichever app you pick in the system share menu. We receive no copy of it.
What Blokadia does not do
The game does not ask for your location, nor for access to your contacts, camera, microphone or files. It uses no analytics or behavioural tracking of ours, and shares no data with data brokers.
Recipients and transfers outside the European Union
The only recipients are the Google services named above (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irlande, and its affiliates). This processing may involve transferring data outside the European Union, covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Details of Google's processing: policies.google.com/privacy.
Data security
Blokadia sends your game data to no server, and we run none: there is therefore no database on our side that could be breached.
On your device, your progress and settings are stored in the app's private storage area, isolated from other apps by Android or iOS, and covered by the device's own encryption while it is locked.
Exchanges with the Google services described above (advertising, purchases, updates) travel over connections encrypted with the TLS protocol, implemented by the components Google supplies. Your payment details never pass through the game: they are handled directly by the store.
Messages you send us are kept in our mailbox, access to which is restricted to the publisher.
Retention
Game data is kept on your device until you uninstall. Advertising and billing data is kept by Google for its own retention periods. Messages you send us are kept for as long as handling your request requires, then deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. For data stored on your device, uninstalling the game is enough to erase it.
To exercise those rights: pymaride@proton.me. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the supervisory authority of your own country.
Children
Blokadia is not aimed specifically at children and we do not knowingly collect data about minors under fifteen. If you hold parental responsibility and believe your child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
This policy may change, in particular if a new feature alters the data processed. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page. Substantial changes will be flagged in the app.
